RAYNES
Lush Harmonies & Luminous Energy
Live at Pershing Hall – March 20th, 2026
A Sound That Feels Both Timeless and New
Raynes delivers music that envelops you in warmth while transporting you to a cinematic realm. The transatlantic trio blends folk-pop intimacy with sweeping, modern production, anchored by rich vocal harmonies and deeply human storytelling. Their songs feel familiar yet unexpected — heartfelt, immersive, and undeniably alive.
A Band Born Across the Atlantic
Raynes’ origin story is as cinematic as their sound. North Dakota natives Mat Charley and Joe Berger first discovered UK singer Mark Race through an Instagram video and instantly connected — first with his presence, then with his voice. A few messages turned into phone calls, and soon Mark was on a plane to the U.S. to start a band (a journey later immortalized by the flight number tattooed on his arm).
Since forming, Raynes has built an impressive and ever-growing résumé, including:
- Global Reach: Tens of millions of streams and hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners.
- Critical Recognition: Press coverage from Billboard and People.
- Major Moments: Signing with Sony Music Publishing and performing at BottleRock Festival, alongside tours across the U.S. and U.K.
- Cultural Impact: Their rendition of “I Want You to Want Me” featured on Netflix’s Love Is Blind in 2025.

A Sound That Defies Genre
With each member coming from a different musical background, Raynes has never settled on a single genre — and that’s the point. Drawing inspiration from folk, rock, chamber pop, Celtic textures, and world music influences, the trio creates a sound that’s both globally inspired and uniquely their own. Poetic lyrics, unconventional instrumentation, and soaring harmonies define a band that refuses to be boxed in.
