Limbo | A gathering of Gods & Demons

Upon crossing the river's edge, you are greeted by Charon, the silent ferryman. He extends his hand, and with the weight of your obol, the gates to the labyrinth creak open. Each path before you twists into shadowed corners, veiled in mystery, and behind every door awaits a glimpse into the world of the gods and the forgotten souls of the underworld. You must choose wisely, for only one exit leads you back.

Dionysus’ Hidden Lounge
Behind a curtain of ivy, laughter echoes and music thunders softly. Once inside, you find a secret den of forbidden indulgence where revelry and madness dance hand in hand. Dionysus beckons, his chalice brimming with nectar that blurs the lines between ecstasy and illusion.

Orpheus’ Tavern
The soft strum of a lyre lures you to a dimly lit tavern, where Orpheus sings his eternal lament. Shadows of lost souls drink in silence, their eyes following the tune. His melody stirs something within you—melancholy, hope, or perhaps a warning.

Eurydice’s Garden of the Nymphs
The air here is heavy with the scent of wildflowers and something sweeter, yet tinged with decay. Nymphs flit through the overgrowth, whispering secrets from the roots of ancient trees. Eurydice’s presence lingers, her voice soft and distant, a reminder of love lost to the shadows.

Hades' Domain
The very walls seem to breathe in this dimly lit chamber, pulsating with the power of the underworld’s king. Hades’ cold gaze follows your every move as shadows coil around your feet. His throne looms in the distance, casting a chill that seeps into your bones, daring you to step closer.

Persephone’s Crimson Sanctuary
Scarlet petals litter the ground, leading you into a twilight realm where light and dark merge. Persephone’s eyes glint in the half-light, her smile holding a secret. Her sanctuary is both beautiful and cruel, a reminder of life’s fragile balance.

Join Jianna at Riches Art Gallery on Saturday November 16th for a lovely afternoon of watercolor painting with wine selections from William-Chris.  We will dive into our canvases, guided by the gallery owner Richard Samuel who will be instructing us with easygoing step-by-step directions (of course you are always welcome to paint outside the lines like myself!)  This is a space to connect, create, and sip on some Texas local wine.

Meeting point will be at Pershing between 4:00pm & 4:30pm where you are welcome to enjoy a bite, cocktail or mocktail before we walk over to the Gallery at 4:50pm. (It is on 4th and Pedernales so just around the corner.) 

Your canvas, paint, & brushes will be waiting for us upon our arrival. 

Once the experience is over we will walk back to Pershing. If you would like to take your art with you please feel free. If you don't feel like carrying it back, I will pick it up and bring it back to Pershing where you can pick it up at your leisure.
